November Nuggets 30

“Don’t think spirituality means having a nice, quiet life – it means being on fire.” says Sadhguru.

Ha ha, when I heard this quote a couple of days ago, I laughed out loud at the absolute truth of the statement. How often do we cringe when we look at our immature behavioral patterns? How often do we even permit ourselves to look inward to see the lies and the half truths we tell ourselves? How often do we hide and bury our reality so deep it is either impossible to unravel or takes eons to get to the bottom of it all? Spirituality is all about facing the truth. And it helps to have support when you walk that path inward. It helps to have an anchor and guidance from likeminded souls.Β

Gratitude to the Satsang community both online and offline who has accompanied me through my travels in this yogic path.Your likes, comments, questions and feedbacks have meant much to me. It gives me plenty to work with through the years . Satsang in Sanskrit literally translates to β€œ being in the company of truth” or being with the seekers of truth and knowledge”. Β Every moment spent with such people is a moment worth applauding. Β In the process, I have made new connections, sustained the old and let go of those that no longer serve my journey. It is deeply cleansing. Gratitude for the love and support you have always bestowed upon me. I feel fortunate and blessed to know every single one of you. Here is my wish for you. That you enjoy every single moment as if it were the last as you journey to the end of 2018. This way you will begin anew with mindfulness and joy the beautiful moments of 2019. My schedule slows toward the end of the year. And then picks up come January. If I don’t see you here, I will catch you on the mat, via phone, or at a time when our path is meant to cross again. Till then take care of yourself. Much love, peace and joy.Β

β€œSatsang is the invitation to step into the fire of self discovery. This fire will not burn you, it will burn only what you are not.” Mooji.
